ICD: Please remember to talk to Darlene if you have any questions. “All” members are eligible to participate. Tuition assistance is available, On-line courses are available.  If you are interested, or there are courses you would like to take make sure to contact her at 879-8548. Scholarship Form is available at the ICD office or Union office for members with children or grandchildren who will be starting or returning to college in the fall of 2008 or spring 2009. (In the past have maintained at least a 3.0 grade average)  Random drawing will be held in October.  All ICD information is printed on yellow paper.

Reminders- Members on ERT or attending Safety meetings, it is your responsibility to inform section managers that you went to training in order to get paid correctly. Scan will be confirmed for a payment.  Members who attend these meetings still will be charged for job overtime/ GOT if eligible for work during the same time as meetings.

 Vacations: Members in departments that have sign up sheets, and may want to move up for shift, need to sign shift movement.  

Trading Shifts- need to do shift trade form, signed by both members and handed in at least 24 hours in advance. No overtime may be created by trading shifts. Trading of shifts must be done within the scheduled work week 

Report in pay: Members that report for work without any notification that they are not to report and no work is available- will be paid for half (1/2) the regular hours scheduled, but no more than four (4) hours at hourly rate or for an incentive person 115% . 

Dock: Please- “NO” members are to walk the back dock- use the main entrance. The Company has notified us that “severe” discipline will be issued for those that ignore the entrance/out procedure. 

PPE: Please remember to wear your safety glasses, ear plugs and safety shoes daily.
